ALPEN HSS Cobalt Stub Drill Set 2 - 8mm - DCK6

ALPEN stub drill bits are generally designed for sheet metal drilling and spot centering operations with a strong supporting web and a reduced chisel edge to help penetration. These can also be used where access length is limited.

Ideal for use with hard materials. The shorter length means that the location of the hole and the intended axis is more accurate, in comparison to a longer drill bit which can drill deeper.

As the drill bits are made of cobalt, they will cut faster than typical HSS drill bits, without losing their hardness or strength. They also feature a cross cut point.

This kit comes in 6 metric sizes (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8mm) and is supplied in a plastic storage case.
